But Secret Service, a new storage element for the company’s award-winning S2 kitchen, offers much more than meets the eye. A clever “hidden” concept, Secret Service is a 3.5 cm slim drawer that’s nearly invisible within the sculpted recessed channel of S2’s handle-free design. The versatile drawer can be customized for optimal storage while keeping the focus on the cabinetry’s sleek and minimal design. “Secret Service is an unexpected detail that makes use of every inch of available space,” said Hans Henkes, President and CEO for SieMatic USA. “It’s ideal for storing flat utensils, smart phones, tablets, or even valuables,” he adds. Well thought out to the last detail, Secret Service is a versatile space that may be configured for many uses. Optional dividers are used for flexible separation and organization of items. The dividers feature very strong magnets which securely hold them in the desired position. A knife holder is also available to store knives safely within easy reach. Ideal for protecting both high-quality knives and fingers, its flexible blade and handle rests ensure a secure hold for almost any knife. Secret Service can also be left as-is for larger flat items such as books or tablets. Well-disguised when not in use, Secret Service features smart push-to-open integration that makes it easy to open and close. A push of the finger opens the drawer for access, and just as easily, push to close. Secret Service is available for SieMatic’s most popular kitchen design, S2. This, plus an array of new features, is now available through the company’s exclusive network of showrooms across North America.
