If any SieMatic kitchen can lay claim to classic style, it is the SieMatic 6006. The striking new design, displayed at SieMatic Forum 2010 in Greige, includes the signature integrated stainless steel grip channel, which provides ease of use, while underscoring its clean lines. Base cabinet side panels are brought to a curve at the floor for elegant design contrast, while the floating shelf overhead reinforces the minimalist theme, keeping with the curved design of the base cabinet at its underside. The tall cabinets are vented below with optional toe-kick grills in stainless steel or black grating, curved in line with the contemporary design of the base cabinets.

The SieMatic 6006 KM was paired at SieMatic Forum 2010 with the new Fossil Brown countertop and backsplash from the SieMatic StoneDesign collection. The unique limestone used for the countertop comes from Morocco and displays embedded marine life from more than 65 million years ago. Natural shades of brown interplay with randomly occurring remnants of prehistoric life to make for an extraordinary ambiance.

Behind the streamlined cabinet fronts, the SieMatic drawer interiors revealed an orderly system of organization. The new SieMatic drawer interior system is a balance of functionality and aesthetics, with attractive storage solutions in light oak, porcelain, and aluminum.

Another handle-free kitchen showcased in Löhne was the newly redesigned SieMatic SC 66. Displayed in Matt Black, the design, although contemporary, created a romantic, retro mood reminiscent of Art Deco style, with its polished stainless steel countertops and lighted mirror that was handsomely offset by surrounding dark cabinetry. The black, recessed grip channel gives the cabinet fronts dimension, while harmonizing in color tone to accentuate the polished stainless steel countertops.

The matt black cabinet exterior highlighted a tidy system of decorative and versatile new interior drawer accessories in light oak and white glazed porcelain that made arrangement of utensils, cookware, china, packaged goods, and spices intuitive. Interior drawer accessories can be arranged individually.

The SieMatic SC 66 was also displayed in Cashmere Grey with deep-grained, horizontal Titan Walnut laminate fronts complemented by a tile motif suggesting North African flair. Illuminated, floating shelves provided easy access and lent to an open and relaxed feel. The dark stone countertop with a 1-cm thin edge emphasized the distinctive linear accent created by the black integrated grip channel.
